Doctor of Physical Therapy My thoughts about the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL as a whole, and my professional insight into the impact of injuries around the NFL

The Ravens are headed to Rio de Janeiro this season, two sources with direct knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Baltimore Sun on Wednesday. Baltimore will play the Dallas Cowboys, who the NFL announced earlier this offseason as the host team for the league’s first game in the former capital city of Brazil and site of the 2016 Olympic Games. The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the schedule publicly. A date has yet to be announced, though it would not take place before Week 2, with the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers already playing in Australia on Thursday night in Week 1. The league’s schedule will be announced in mid-May. Read more: bit.ly/4djHHCg

Ravens NEED to bring back the mustard pants this season @Ravens

DeAndre Hopkins says he felt underutilized this season, especially in the red zone. In response to his one-handed catch in Week 1 vs. Bills, Hopkins said: “How many times after this do you think I was used in the red zone? When targeted I’m still one of the most productive.”

Ravens have rescinded deals in the past because of issues with physicals. In 1997, Baltimore backed out of a deal with Cowboys safety Brock Marion minutes before he was going to sign a contract because the team discovered a potential problem with his left shoulder. In 2018, Baltimore voided its four-year, $29 million agreement with wide receiver Ryan Grant after he failed a physical over an ankle injury.

NO CHEATING ALLOWED. Tell me where #Ravens legend Joe Flacco went to college:
