You were the first person (after Baili) I thought of when I heard the news. I didn't know Lora personally, but her work felt like a permanent and prominent presence in my life in Indy. Up there with Mpozi and Doug Fellegy. All love, brother.

82 years ago, on December 1st 1944, African soldiers who fought and bled to help defeat the Nazis were massacred by the French army at Thiaroye massacre after demanding the salary they were promised. They survived Hitler, only to be murdered by the empire they defended.

@unclebengi The list is LONG and overwhelming this year, with almost nothing of substance. I guess this is just the result of the majors consolidating and squeezing out the indies. I still might grab the 25th anniversary edition of Jurassic 5's Quality Control to blast me back to 8th grade
