Data centers owned by the richest companies in the world shouldn't get to dodge paying taxes while destroying our natural resources & driving up utility prices for hard-working families. If they are going to come to Iowa, they need to be responsible stewards of our land & pay their fair share.

It's been 10 years since Iowa privatized Medicaid under the promise of lower costs. Today, costs are rising faster, care is harder to access, and rural hospitals and clinics are closing. It's been a disaster, & I'm the only candidate in the race willing to do something about it.

Private schools get to pick and choose which students they accept — and under our current vouchers scheme, they're doing it on your dime without any accountability. As Governor, I'll strengthen oversight of the voucher program and fully fund our public schools.

The job of the State Auditor is to provide "watchful and responsible care" of taxpayer dollars. Despite those who have tried to limit our powers, our office has uncovered more waste, fraud, and abuse in a single term than any other State Auditor in Iowa history.
