@permos1982 @DaveGreber4 You are correct. What's missing from that statement is that it is the first crash involving a US reg. airliner since Flight 3407. Not the last fatal incident. There was the 2018 SWA Flight where the woman died after the window blowout and she was sucked halfway out of the plane.

Pilot dead following a plane crash in Youngstown, NY. The aircraft, a Cessna 208, was being used for skydiving operations at the Shear Airport. The female pilot, and sole occupant, was killed. Local authorities are on scene. Federal investigators were notified and responding.

The North Grand Island Bridge remains undefeated after another tractor trailer operator failed to numerous read traffic signs and struck the bridge. New York State Police are on scene. The $1.9M warning system New York State installed to reduce bridge strikes isn't working.
