Moreso, working a locals dark match obviously does not make you a WWE/AAA wrestler. Although it sure does get you 15 mins of fame to claim that to be so.
The only fallout may be he isn't allowed to work the Arena Queretaro shows w/ CMLL wrestlers. We'll find out on 5/14.

Tragic news for @CheeseburgerROH as Kraneo appears to have announced his departure from CMLL. So much for ever getting that Volcano/Kraneo mask match.
There's an idea floating that he will go back to the Alebrije name but that doesn't add up unless I missed something.

This match, which was very bad, didn't get much press coverage (maybe only Espectacular and Box y Lucha). El Karateka Ninja couldn't wrestle as TNT because we already had our own TNT here. In 1986, he had come as Corsario I (along with Invader #4 as Corsario II), losing their masks to the Brazos de Oro and Brazos de Plata. What I remember most about the match was that it was frustrating that the Puerto Rican guy was neither a karateka nor a ninja. I thought he was going to be another Jon Guil Don.

@ocampoxlaw What can you tell us about Top Win? The promotion that popped up in 1997. Seems like the first time people decided to bring back the UWA considering the names they used & running El Toreo. Of course it dies very quickly but who was in charge? Who was the money?

@ocampoxlaw It came to my mind reading about Blue Panther joining AAA the same time Top Win was created. Same thing with Gran Markus Jr who leaves CMLL for 3 months to lose his mask there & is back (with Blue Panther) by September.

@RobViper Arturo Rivera didn't have a ghostwriter; he did the writing himself. In fact, during the period when Antonio Peña was the director of Súper Luchas, Rivera was the liaison between Peña (who was at the AAA offices) and the magazine's editorial team.

I'll cut Ciber some slack here since he was just naming names. TBH If you showed him photos of half the guys in the Rumble he wouldn't get 80% of them, nor would he (or should he) care.

@BoyRuddy51030 Back in the day the edecanes weren't even dancers, they had other jobs. Today they're all professional dancers who suspiciously dance the same way to every song...
