@Rob_C_Allen @AldiUK Japanese milk loaf? Would you share the recipe?

Sweet mince pies, as I’ve still several jars, after @AldiUK were selling them off. 12 large deep filled and 10 mini pies 9which would you choose). Whilst baking them, a voice from the living room said "can I have a milk loaf" so there’s Japanese milk loaf too and a mini loaf.

@SallyAnneIngha1 @AldiUK The pastry recipe I use is from Paul Hollywood’s mince pies. 300g plain flour, 75g Maizebite flour, 260g butter, 125g caster sugar and 1 large egg. The filling is Mincemeat and diced Granny Smith apple.

Finished off my T55 flour and baked 4 baguettes. That was after baking sticky ginger cakes. Had a little mince left after making shepherds pie (well cottage pie) for tea, so there was a couple of mince pies and a ham n egg pie to finish off.

@Rob_C_Allen there should not be cream in a Victoria Sandwich even when you call it sponge cake, keep up the old traditions!

Friday Pieday appears to have moved. Corned beef, leek n potato pies. Quiche and a ham n egg pie. Coconut tarts, shortbread cases filled with lemon curd/blackcurrant jam and topped with a coconut cake batter. #homemade

Just fancied some Spice cake. Baked 12 tall cakes (115g batter in each), using 1.5x @LakelandUK recipe, with additional chopped walnuts. I’ll also share some with my neighbour. I’ll be eating one later with some 🧀
