Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed in US-Israeli strikes on Tehran according to Israeli officials and President Trump.
In his post on Truth Social, Donald Trump said “one of the most evil people in history is dead” and this is “justice” for Iranians, Americans and many people across the world.
Iranian officials had earlier denied Khamenei had been killed.
The 86-year-old has been Iran’s supreme leader since 1989.
