@BaxtyB Oscar still lost points to Max as a result. Monza - Max gained 10 points on Oscar instead of the 7 it would’ve been had the swap not happened. Singapore - Max gained 6 points on Oscar instead of the 3 had McLaren reversed the positions due to the contact. And Qatar we know.

@RobbieHay385 Right, but they benefited Lando, so it hasn't cost both of them against Max. Plus in 2 of those races, Max was already ahead of them. Today, no excuses, that's on them, but, I don't think it was papaya rules, I just think they got it wrong.

@BaxtyB He’d get up to maybe 8th maximum, that’s a massive points swing and would leave Max needing to finish 2nd for the remaining races, and that’s not happening.

How on earth can the FIA not have a separate provision for Sprint weekends. This is an oversight and a half. Still, we could end up with the title rivals at opposite ends of the grid. So, maybe? #BrazilianGP

@BaxtyB The VSC was deployed as soon as Lando got into P1 after Hulk was out of his car for a full lap beforehand. That’s more than a little dodgy, that smells of race fixing tbh and the FIA have previous for this stuff.

@SpannersReady @pitlane_girl That was in relation to how British drivers are treated in the media vs non British drivers. He said sometimes you win, sometimes you lose in relation to the penalties. The passport thing was media related, not penalty related. Don’t spread false information.

@SpannersReady @pitlane_girl He actually didn’t. He was talking about the media criticism regarding his driving from Damon Hill & Johnny Herbert. He never complained about either penalty he got in Mexico, watch the press conference and see for yourself.

@BaxtyB Overtaking off track is not permitted. If Lando gave the position back Max would’ve got a penalty for forcing Lando off. However Lando kept the position and was rightly penalised himself.

@BradleyPhilpot Norris overtook off track, and Max was ahead at the apex on the inside. Also Oscar backed off to help Norris with his penalty, so you can apologise to him for calling him a bad teammate.

Flashbacks to Brazil 2021. I’ve said it many times: Max Verstappen is incapable or unwilling to race cleanly - because he knows he will not be penalised for it. Today he was clearly in breach of the regulations and yet it was NORRIS who received the penalty. #F1

Once again, Piastri throws away an opportunity to take points off the Red Bulls. I’ve said it before - worst possible team mate for a title run in. The only times he beats the Red Bulls, is when he beats Norris. The rest of the time he’s not doing the job. You’re in the best car man! #F1
