If nothing else it is decisive & clear from the ownership. Basically it’s an early shout of “get on board with it because it’s happening” to the fans. Question marks remain over Rohl given the collapse but one thing the club absolutely must improve on regardless is the player recruitment. We need a clear vision of what a Rangers team looks like, because it’s miles away from what their first appointment, Martin, was trying to serve up. Soundbites on steel, leadership are good. But let’s see what they look like on the pitch, not on paper.

Don’t think there’s much doubt that Rohl dropped a bollock this week. Allowed a situation to develop that didn’t need to happen and clearly has caused dressing room drama. Maybe inexperience? You can be a good coach but this falls under ‘management’.

If it was a breakdown of communication with Rohl and Tav then it shines a big light into some of our problems recently. Maybe the best thing for the club this summer is to move on to a new era without either of them.
