@yungtw1z I actually hate the fact they were picking on little Brexton because of who is dad is after reports of him being offered a provisional emerged but the same people were completely silent after Chase Elliott was offered a provisional at last year's Hangtown 100

Tell you what ace … forget about NASCAR for a moment … the slowest in a Mazda MX5 last year in Quali at Road Atlanta was a 1min40 sec lap time. You do 10 consecutive laps under 2mins30secs yourself and we’ll see what your stance about drivers and athleticism is then.

When 740 children were condemned by the world to die at sea, one man said “yes.” The world is burning in war. In the middle of the Arabian Sea, a ship is drifting, carrying 740 exhausted children. Polish orphans who had already lived through the horrors of war, who had seen their parents die. They had passed through Iran, hoping to find safety in India. But every port under British control shut its gates to them. One after another. The world turned away. Among them was twelve-year-old Maria. She tightly held the hand of her six-year-old brother, remembering the last promise she made to their dying mother: “Take care of him.” But food was running out. Medicine was gone. And when Maria looked at the horizon, she saw only rejection. The British authorities governing India at the time declared that these children were not their responsibility. It seemed that these 740 souls had become invisible to a world consumed by war. But news of the drifting ship reached Jam Sahib Digvijay Singhji, the Maharaja of Nawanagar, ruler of a small principality in Gujarat. He was not a great world leader. He had no vast army. And he was under no obligation to help. More than that, by accepting these children, he would be going against the British Empire, which had already said “no.” When his advisors told him about their fate, he did not ask about the cost. He did not ask about political risks. He asked only one question: “How many are there?” “Seven hundred forty.” And in that moment, he made a decision that would go down in history. He said: “The British may control the ports… but not my conscience.” In August 1942, the ship finally reached the shores of Nawanagar. The children who stepped off were exhausted, weak, and so traumatized they could not even cry. They expected to see soldiers or barbed wire. Instead, they saw a man in white waiting for them at the dock. The Maharaja knelt to be at eye level with the youngest, and through a translator said words that changed their lives: “Do not consider yourselves orphans. From this moment, I am your father, and you are my children.” He gave them more than shelter. He gave them a home. In the village of Balachadi, he created a true refuge. He did not impose Indian culture on them. On the contrary, he invited Polish teachers so the children would not forget their language. He provided them with familiar food and allowed them to keep their faith and traditions, to sing their native songs. Under the hot Indian sun, they celebrated Polish Christmas—and once again felt the warmth of a family they thought they had lost forever. For four years, while the rest of the world was falling apart, the Maharaja paid for everything—treatment, food, education—from his own fortune. When the war ended and it was time to leave, many of them cried. They were leaving the only place where they had been treated with dignity when the whole world had turned away. Those children grew up—to become doctors, engineers, grandparents. In Poland, squares and schools are named after the Maharaja, and he is remembered as a national hero. Because strength is not measured by how much land you conquer— but by how many lives you save. When the world closes its heart, the greatest act of courage is to open yours. And true immortality lives in kindness that outlasts even kings.

Olivia, you downloaded a video of a ten-year-old just to mock him and encourage others to pile on. Strange behavior for someone with a cross in their handle claiming to be a woman of faith. But I suppose when you’re hungry for clicks, as you clearly are, bullying a child online becomes okay. Grow up.

In the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, only three weeks after the death of Dale Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick wins his first career Winston Cup race by narrowly edging Jeff Gordon. He won the race by only six one-thousandths of a second (.006). After the win he paid tribute to Earnhardt, driving on the track backward with three fingers held outside the driver's window as a show of honor and respect.

Russia’s national anthem was played at the Paralympics for the first time since 2014 It was played after alpine skier Varvara Voronchikhina won the super-G event. The athlete brought Russia its first gold medal at the 2026 Games. At these Paralympics, the Russian team is competing under its own flag and anthem. Previously, Russian athletes were allowed to participate only under a neutral status — first because of the doping scandal, and later due to sanctions following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

In 2004, Union Berlin were on the brink of bankruptcy and couldn’t afford the €1.5m required by the German FA to compete in the 2004/05 season. In Germany, people are paid for donating blood, so thousands of Union Berlin fans gave blood and handed the money they received straight to the club. The funds helped pay the fee, and 15 years later they were sitting 8th in the Bundesliga. They quite literally bled for their club.

Matthew Stanford Robison passed away at the tender age of 10 after a life marked by severe disabilities, including cerebral palsy that left him blind, mostly paralyzed & confined to a wheelchair. His father, Ernest Robison, crafted this poignant bronze memorial statue to capture the joyful moment of his son’s release into the afterlife, rising triumphantly from his wheelchair, one foot planted on the seat, arms outstretched toward the sky, finally free from earthly limitations & burdens. This touching tribute transforms grief into a powerful symbol of hope, healing & eternal freedom.
