Nothing to see here. I'm just taking my swan for a swim. He/she joined me and the dogs for a good mile along the canal this morning. He/she hasn't very chatty, but seemed to appreciate the company 😀

The only time it isn't bad manners to barge past someone.

@RichardWWSmith I can empathise. I walked down some of it backwards to save my knees.

@Robble_do It's a beast. Ruined what's left of my knees coming down there last week.

The steepest drivable road in the UK at 36.5%. Used to try and ride my bike up it before it was resurfaced. Always used to lose traction due to the steepness and loose surface.

@Robble_do Hairy tare flowers - a tiny vetch plant which appeared and spread in my garden a few years ago 😊

@Robble_do That depends on how you measure it. Steepest short length gradient, or average gradient. Vale Street in Bristol has an average gradient of 22.9% over its length.
