RS3 is currently at 13k players (124k of these are osrs playercount) New world just began to shut down which hit around 13k online at it's peak each day. Next year is the most important year in the Games history.

It's gamejam time!!! As part of my ongoing overworld cleanup work I'm looking at the area south of Falador. I want to see how do people feel about moving Melzars maze underground to get back some forest space and make it fully a dungeon. Concept by the amazing @JagexDBarker

@JagexAsh Would you ever consider this as an option in OSRS by chance, maybe adding a charge to note the fish, a npc that attacks characters or even a certain quest that unlocks that feature. Or would bots still find an easy way around it? Just curious haha

@RobbyDraws I don't think we ever had it in OSRS, so it wasn't removed. It's just an RS3 feature we didn't copy so far. Thanks for the interest in it - though you're right that bots would be a concern there if we did it.

@JagexAsh Will there ever be a possibility to add the fisherman that notes fish on karamja for F2P by chance for a fee of course? Or was it removed solely due to fishing bots?

@JagexAsh Not a crazy benefit, but it would be relatively nice to not have to wait a second or two to change to a different weapon such as a bow/scim etc. to attack the npc besides the machete thats equipped😀

@RobbyDraws Letting you use one that's in your inventory sounds reasonable, for consistency with Woodcutting. What's the benefit for you, though?

@JagexAsh Would it be possible to have a QOL update for tai bwo cleanup where we don't require a machete equipped to chop the dense jungle. Would be an awsome little update!
