If AI can provide 1 of 3 GIANT wins by end of 2027, something along the lines of:
- Cure some form of disease/cancer that impacts a lot of people
- Make a certain class of food way easier/cheaper to access that's super good for you (and tastes good)
- Creates a class of job/work that pays VERY well and is SUPER fun
- Makes transportation WAY more accessible and WAY cheaper (ie Robotaxi/Cybercab)
Then the transition momentum will be so strong, no amount of poo-pooing by decels will be enough to slow down the movement.
ChatGPT was the 1st sign that this technology has insane potential. If a 2nd technology comes through that builds on top of it, then it's off to the races for EVERYONE.

🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP.
We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians.

The acting was terrific, but I just didn’t bond with the characters or the plot. I dont think that it was necessarily woke, but it did highlight how crazy extreme political views can get and this just happened to be a very far left political scape. I can still appreciate that the directing, acting, cinematography and music score were all very good though.

This is fair. Paul Thomas Anderson’s best movie in years. And one of his best ever. Also one of Sean Penn’s best roles.
If you started it and turned it off because it seemed like some woke trash, give it another shot. The movie isn’t what it seems in the first 20-30 mins.

Waymo Co-CEO in a new interview on if she’s worried about different robotaxis on the road using different technology approaches (like Tesla):

There are a lot of real estate law suits. Realtors help buyers and sellers avoid these. Not saying AI couldn’t, but not using a realtor does shift burden to the buyer or seller. Buying a home is a big deal for most people, so having a human guide is necessary for most people at this point. The Market should determine what thats worth. The more money involved, the higher the risk.

The issue is showing the house. I agree a platform that connects those who want to sell their home with those who want to buy a home is first step. I think agents help buyers and sellers by educating them about neighborhoods,schools,etc. I can see a flat fee in future where people show the house and answer questions. There are some nuances about contracting that are important. It’s no more work to sell a 10M home vs a 1M home and many in their field would agree takes more work with less expensive home. I think flats fee brokers tied with bonus incentives ie selling in certain time frame tied with AI will be future.

🚨 Do you understand what just happened? A guy in Florida asked ChatGPT to sell his house. Not help him sell it. SELL IT. Pricing, Marketing, Showings, Contract.. Everything. Sold in 5 days. The average real estate agent takes 6% commission. On a $400K house that's $24,000. For what? Putting it on Zillow and sending you emails? This man paid $20 a month for ChatGPT and did the whole thing from his couch. Real estate agents spent 20 years telling you the process is too complicated for normal people. That you need a professional. That the paperwork is too risky without them. It was gatekept. And a chatbot just kicked the gate open.. Lawyers are next, Accountants are next, Financial advisors are next.. Every profession that made you feel stupid so you'd pay them is about to get the same treatment. The middleman economy is dying. And it's not dying because AI is smarter than them.. It's dying because AI proved you were always smart enough to do it yourself. You just weren't allowed to..

And so we're going to have more cameras with better dynamic range. We're going to supplement that with LiDAR that provides better safety for edge case conditions and allows us to train the vision models faster. And the incremental cost to do that is relatively small. And in fact any of the incremental costs that would have been there on its own is offset by the fact that we brought inference in house and reduced the cost of our inference platform so dramatically from what we have in your car. Your car uses an Nvidia inference platform. I say all this because in like the infinite long-term you know, you could make the case that once the models are very very robust you could have less cameras or you may be able to get away with less radar. It's not clear yet if that's the case for covering all these corner cases."
