Rugby is well underway at Robert Blake! 🏈🏈 Well done to our Year 8 team who played against @_TKASA and @BrymoreSport this week in very wet and muddy conditions! All those involved showed great determination and teamwork in the matches. 🤩

Year 7 had a great time playing rugby in the mud at @BrymoreSport this week. Some excellent tackling, running, passing and plenty of tries. Well done to all involved. 🏈👏

Year 7s had their first fixture for English Schools on the 8th October vs Westfield. The girls played brilliantly, working together and having the majority of the possession throughout. This group have demonstrated some talent that will develop into a fantastic team, well done.

Some of our Year 9 girls have been developing their leadership skills through football today. It was fantastic to see them each contribute to their teams and display continued development. #aspire #achieve #celebrate

GIRLS ONLY FITNESS🏋🏽‍♀️ Join us every Thursday for our Girls only gym club where you can get support and guidance on how to effectively train in a gym environment (Y9-11). Or take part in a cardiovascular fitness session in our activity studio (All years).

Students attended the Girls Go Gold Conference at Sherborne Girls for a day of celebrating women's sport last week. They took part in talks with Clare Balding CBE, Sue Anstis and masterclasses with professional athletes/coaches. The girls represented the school with pride

Alongside masterclasses in football, hockey, strength and conditioning, netball and swimming. They met a number of athletes and women in the sports industry including Eboni Usoro-Brown, Laura Sugar, Lauren McMurchie, Georgia Adderley, Sammie Harris and many more.

Our Year 8 rugby team had their first fixture last week against @TKASA_PE and @HaygrovePE. Great play displayed by all! 🏈

As part of National School Sports week #NSSW, tutors engaged in a ‘olympic door’ competition. There were many fantastic entries around the school. Congratulations to 7EMB, 8DXS, 9VJH and 10SMG - winners of the competition!
