@HistoryWJacob Chamberlain deserves credit. So does his superior, Strong Vincent, who saw the hole and filled it with the 20th Maine.

@erik_thorvalds They weren’t whining about 3 on 3 in the semifinals

Team Canada coach Jon Cooper being Canadian after the 3-on-3 OT loss to USA:
“You take four players off the ice, now hockey’s not hockey anymore. There’s a reason overtime and shootouts are in play — it’s all TV-driven to end games, so it’s not a long time. There’s a reason why it’s not in the Stanley Cup Final or playoffs.”
Your team had Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar for 3-on-3… and still couldn’t win.
Why can’t any of them just admit the Americans were the better team?
Canada didn’t win because the other team played better.
In hockey, the better team WINS.
We just dodged the most arrogant, entitled Canadian bragging meltdown in history.
Grand karma. 🏒🇺🇸🥇

@StoolGreenie I’d say Ime. He built this team and is doing a COY job in Houston.

What are you talking about?
🧊@xtra0szn
@StoolGreenie Mazulla’s one championship so far came from a great roster, with a historic shooting season, playing injured teams and getting the most favorable matchups possible. Didn’t go through any gauntlet Not trying to minimize it, but that’s not exactly “greatest coach of a lifetime”
