Seeing a Physio

Where is the compassion for the “overlooked people” in these photographs? What is being “unveiled and studied”? I’m not surprised no institution in the Black Country wants to exhibit the pictures. I grew up in there. This says nothing about the region and everything about Gilden.

I have to say that if anyone is looking for a role model for a Jewish comedian able to get serious when necessary, look no further than Volodymyr Zelensky.

The physiotherapy team at this rehab hospital are kind, committed, knowledgeable, adaptable, inventive and thorough. This is social medicine, social health at its best.

From the moment I was spotted as having the virus to where I am so far must have pulled in the work and skills of over a hundred people working long hours. The NHS was and is a great leap of the human imagination designed to help us all. Forever grateful and believing in it.
