@Hallvardurj @SpotlightUK I go to drama school and we have a majority of international students in my year. We have all done the same work, Shakespeare etc, which most of them done in their second language, if anything; they work harder. I really don’t get that casting call

@Hallvardurj @SpotlightUK Moreover, “the demands of Shakespearean text” Im Scottish and I fucking struggle with it. Shakespeares text is demanding no matter what langauge you speak, or your native tounge, to assume it’s not as good because someone is foreign is insulting.

Outrageous. Tory MPs reintroduced NHS car parking fees (in England) from the 1st April ‘22. 72 NHS trusts now charge nurses for parking. Nurses paying car park fees of up to £1300pa. MPs get their parking for free. Abolish NHS parking charges.

The Whale: Straight after the film thoughts: The single greatest performance I have ever seen in my life from Brendan Fraser, the film itself, I have never been so emotional in a cinema. Reminded me a lot of my life(young carer), and maybe that’s why I was so moved by this art.
