@AdameMedia@DineshDSouza The difference is Indians are much better than somalis. Even the most rabid anti Indian hater will agree with that. Also maga hates Indians because they take their high tech paying jobs lol
@Deee_luul We allowed you in and gave you a chance for a better life and you used it to steal from us. You have to go back now. You are no longer welcome.
Trump is suffering from an uncontrollable obsession with Ilhan Omar and the entire Somali community, and the man needs immediate medical attention!
Fun fact: Ilhan Omar and her ex-husband are not even from the same clan. Mr. president is turning himself into a global laughingstock by recycling social media gossip. 🤦🏽♀️

Statement on Why the Somali Republic 🇸🇴 President Must Respond to President Trump’s Recent Statement and Reflect on Past Inaction
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Somali Republic must issue a strong and unequivocal response to current U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent derogatory statement labeling the Somali Republic as a “failed government drenched in crime and poverty” and among “the worst in the world.” This attack, targeting Somali-American Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, insults the Somali Republic’s sovereignty and misrepresents its progress in combating al-Shabaab, rebuilding institutions, and fostering economic recovery. Trump’s ignorant remarks fail to acknowledge that not all Somalis are from the Somali Republic; many hail from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti, and his blanket defamation offends this diverse community. Neither Trump nor the U.S., complicit in the neoconservative agenda targeting the Somali Republic alongside Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, and Sudan for destabilization, has the moral authority to defame our nation. Moreover, Ilhan Omar and her Democratic Party exploit these hateful statements for political gain, failing to defend themself and dragging our name into their chaos. The Somali Republic will not tolerate this and is prepared to seek justice at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for America’s hateful actions. President Mohamud’s past failure to counter Trump’s rhetoric, such as his 2020 claim of “no government, no safety,” has weakened our global standing. A response now is critical to defend our honor and assert our place on the world stage. Here’s why action is essential and why inaction has been costly:
1. Defending Sovereignty and Progress: Trump’s statement perpetuates a false narrative of the Somali Republic as lawless, ignoring achievements like gains against al-Shabaab and Mogadishu’s revival. His reckless generalization offends Somalis from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti. The U.S., complicit in targeting the Somali Republic among seven Islamic nations, lacks legitimacy to criticize. Silence undermines our resilience; a response affirms our sovereignty.
2. Supporting the Somali Diaspora: Trump’s attack on Omar targets the Somali diaspora from the Somali Republic, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti, vital for remittances and advocacy. Omar and her Democratic Party exploit these attacks, failing to defend our honor and fueling chaos in our name. Silence risks alienating this diaspora; a response shows solidarity.
3. Countering Trump and U.S. Hypocrisy: Trump’s rhetoric, building on neoconservative policies targeting Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Sudan, and the Somali Republic, rallies his base through xenophobia. Omar’s party revels in this for political gain, ignoring our dignity. Past unchallenged statements, like Trump’s 2020 remarks, emboldened further attacks. A response and ICJ action would hold America accountable.
4. Learning from Past Inaction: Mohamud’s failure to counter Trump’s prior attacks allowed stereotypes to persist, missing chances to highlight progress. This inaction enabled the U.S. and Omar’s party to evade scrutiny for exploiting our name, weakening our global image.
5. Seizing a Diplomatic and Legal Opportunity: A response showcases the Somali Republic’s resilience, exposes U.S. hypocrisy in targeting the seven nations, and condemns Omar’s party for its complicity. It calls out Trump’s ignorance of Somali diversity. Pursuing ICJ justice underscores accountability, strengthens diaspora ties, and aligns with supportive global partners.

Somalia’s president to local media in Asmara:
“I have frequently visited #Eritrea. For us Eritrea is home. We came here to brief His Excellency President Isaias about the situation in #Somalia’s war against the terror going on in Somalia where Eritrea is supporting us heavily.
I also came to brief His Excellency about the recent dynamics of the region.
Our region is a very volatile region. I just came to share with him the perspectives of Somalia about the region. So it was information-sharing and briefing to each other that we do frequently.

Well, Eritrea has always been with Somalia and we are very much grateful for that. Eritrea has extensively supported Somalia and the war against al-Shabaab.
And of course, Eritrea has been in support of preserving the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Somalia and that is the international position of Eritrea. And still it is and His Excellency, the President, reiterated the same to me today. We are very much grateful for that as well”.
