Exactly.
Many traders mistakenly believe that losses are bad and the system isn't working, even when they follow the rules, leading them to break consistency.
A system with an edge is designed to ultimately generate profits by cutting losses according to the rules.
It's important to remember that the edge also exists in the loss cuts you make according to the rules, and the system is functioning as intended.

You can do everything right and still have a losing trade.
I grade those as A+ days because I followed all my rules.
The unseasoned trader just doesn’t know how to differentiate the right vs. wrong action.

you see the misconception here? "stopped out = bad trade" you don’t define a trade as 'good' or 'bad' after the outcome a good trade is a setup according to your system a bad trade is a deviation of your system
