Now here is why this matters politically: Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District is home to approximately 47,000–50,000 veterans. Thomas Massie’s most recent Republican primary had only 52,593 total votes cast. That means the veteran population in KY-4 is nearly the size of the entire primary electorate. Vietnam veterans. Gulf War veterans. Post-9/11 veterans. These are not background numbers. VETERANS are a political force. And every one of them deserves to know who Thomas Massie is allowing into his circle.
