Mere Metro til Ørestad! Metroens første linje M1 i Ørestad er nu over 20 år gammel. Da den blev anlagt var Ørestad syd for motorvejen fuldstændig ubebygget og øde – og man valgte kun at bygge Vestamager Station sidst på linjen. Nu er situationen anderledes. Arena-kvarteret er stort set færdigudbygget, Arena Skole nærmer sig åbning og tusindvis af familier har deres dagligdag i bydelen. For ikke at tale om de mange gæster som kommer til fantastiske koncerter og shows i Royal Arena, og i dag må trave langt til Ørestad eller Vestamager stationer. Heldigvis tænkte de sig om, da de byggede metroen i første omgang. Sporet er nemlig allerede forberedt til at vi hurtigt kan indsætte en perron uden de store forstyrrelser af trafikken til Vestamager og servicecenteret. Derfor foreslår jeg nu, at vi sætter gang i arbejdet med at bygge den ekstra station på metroen ved Arena-kvarteret, så alle jer der bor her, og alle der bruger arenaen, kan få effektiv transport lige til døren. @LAsseMandal If you want to go from one side of Amager via metro (let's say from Sundby to Amager Strand) - then you have to ride all the way to Chr Havn and then change lines and all the way back out. Sides should be linked from Bella/Ørestad through Sundby v plads to Amager Strand
