Great for @LPL_Airport to host @DIBLiv and their breakfast meeting in conversation with @mayor_anderson talking about transport and infrastructure for the City.

Delighted that @LPL_Airport is a sponsor for the first time at the #gonwtawards Liverpool John Lennon Airport - the gateway to North Wales. So many amazing and fantastic things to see and do in North Wales. I should know as my family and I have done most of them!

Great to host fellow @DIBLiv members this morning for a transport discussion in the Departure Lounge here @LPL_Airport with speakers Cllr Liam Robinson and Frank Rogers from the Combined Authority and the Airport’s CEO John Irving.

And I thought I might be able to catch up on some paperwork today..........but all that changed as we @LPL_Airport hosted the Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar for his press conference with Irish media to give an update on the latest Brexit talks with Boris Johnson

On board the new ⁦@tfwrail⁩ service to Liverpool Lime St which calls at Liverpool South Parkway with regular bus links to ⁦@LPL_Airport⁩ Passengers from North Wales, Chester, Helsby & Frodsham can now travel by train to and from the airport.

#TransferDeadLineDay It's that time of the year once again when we'll be keeping an eye out on transfer deadline day of any players coming or going through @LPL_Airport

On Sunday it'll be 85 years ago since @LPL_Airport was officially opened. We've come a long way since, with almost 100m passengers having travelled through and are now the region's Faster, Easier, Friendlier Airport of choice - and no I'm not on this photo!

@Ironman_Ste @LPL_Airport Hi Stephen, a rail link is in the City Region Combined Authority's Long Term Rail Strategy, but obviously some time away. However pleased to report operating profits increased by 13% to £3m last year and passenger numbers increased to over 5m

@RobinTudor1 hi Robin. When will see a rail or tram link between @LPL_Airport and the city centre? Our airport loses millions each year. Such infrastructure links have shown to revitalise struggling airports
