A fleet of four AI-powered robots just installed 100 megawatts of solar panels at a utility-scale project in California. One panel per minute. No labor shortages. No fatigue. Maximo's robots, built with NVIDIA simulation tools and AWS infrastructure, just proved that physical AI works at energy scale.

We’re transitioning to retirement now, designing for maximum self-sufficiency, with accessibility a premium. (We hope to die at home.) Last night, I modified our (developing) floor plan for a charging nook for Optimus/Atlas type models. I think by the time we’ve built, the price point will be $15k. Crappy assisted living starts at $3k a month. Absolutely no contest.

Bank of America projects 3 billion humanoid robots in operation by 2060 — more than the world's 1.5 billion cars. 90,000 units ship in 2026. 1.2 million by 2030. 10 million by 2035. 62% eventually deployed inside homes. The driver is not technology. It is demographics. There will not be enough workers.

@RoboDaily the reason most successful entrepreneurs get into robotics is that they're not just building products, they're trying to future-proof their company and avoid getting disrupted. this car ceo knew his industry was a sitting duck for automation.

A car company CEO quietly built a robotics company on his own factory floor. Now it's worth $3 billion. Rivian's RJ Scaringe spun out Mind Robotics in 2025 to automate dexterous manufacturing tasks other startups couldn't crack. Today it raised $400M led by Kleiner Perkins, bringing total funding to over $1 billion. $115M seed. $500M Series A. $400M now. All in under 12 months

Figure 04 just hit full design lock. Parts are already shipping. Brett Adcock calls it the company's biggest generational leap, the iPhone 1 moment for humanoids. F.04 was redesigned from scratch based on lessons from running F.03 24/7, with a focus on mass manufacturability and seventh-generation dexterous hands. F.03 production is currently estimated at 150 units per month. F.04 is already being built behind it.

Bankers who can't even manage to change toner in a printer predict 3 billion "humanoid robots" by 2060... Just counting to 3 billion one by one would take 95 years... without sleeping, without stopping. $400 Robotic vacuum cleaner come to market (Roomba) 24 years ago. total robotic vacuum cleaner sale all brands in 24 years is 200-250 million.. Bank of America people “projects” 24 years later there will be 3 billion $25K humanoid robots on world surface.. Okkkkkk…..

Humanoid robots are about to get a lot cheaper according to IDTechEx. The average unit cost falls from $114,700 in 2024 to $37,000 by 2030. That is a 68% price drop in 6 years. The market hits $25 billion by the early 2030s with 1.8 million units shipping annually by 2036. The catch: cheaper robots do not automatically mean positive ROI. Utilization rate and task continuity determine whether the math actually works

The Chinese company FIGUROBOT is selling a desktop humanoid robots that resemble anime girls. The NIA-F01 stands 56 cm (1 foot 10 inches) and weighs about 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs). It has 34-35 microservos for walking, turning its head, waving, posing, etc. It also shows facial expressions and responds to voice, touch, and visual cues. The Shanghai-based startup says the robots are fully customizable so users can change their model’s face, hair, outfit, voice, and personality. Pricing is reported around $1,400.
