@crocydiletoo it’s actually so shit man. Full of liars, scammers, everyone is out for blood, no one knows what the fuck they’re doing yet everyone is an expert, out of touch people and that’s not even scratching the surface
hey guys, I’m no longer gonna be posting on this account
gonna focus on art purely as a hobby and won’t be taking commissions here
thank you to all who have enjoyed my work :)
@Brodizzleee All perfectly good reasons to be against AI, there needs to be regulation surrounding those things, the impact cannot be underestimated
I believe that we must learn to use AI properly, being totally against it will put you at a disadvantage
@RoboEye5 INTENT. The only intent behind the AI push is one thing. 🤑
PC components to the moon. Environmental impact. Stolen art = “I made”. Removing the cost of creatives. Brainrot “content” to the thousandth degree. Profiteering no matter the impact. Dis/misinformation.
gonna be blunt here
artists have really brought it on themselves the shitty situation they are in, including me
I don’t like AI, but crying about it isn’t gonna help anything, it’s here to stay
the negativity surrounding artists is completely deserved
@Brodizzleee Absolutely can stop them from training more on current artist data, but we need to commit to it.
Unfortunately, those models aren't going anywhere. People are going to use it.
Eventually, you're going to see a new hybrid of artists using both traditional and AI techniques.
@RoboEye5 🤣
Artists existing brought it upon themselves to have their collective infinite works loaded into a machine (theft/plagiarism) to regurgitate whatever the fuck in 30 seconds flat. You can’t match that speed…
Someone trained a skill VS someone is unwilling to learn… lazy.
@Brodizzleee I've talked to both sides. Generating art may be easy, but if you have high expectations and want your art to be represented a certain way, there absolutely is a skill gap.
It's like trying to control a different beast than one offered to by learning how to draw.
and I know exactly what you’re thinking:
“AI art is not art, and people who use it are lazy”
You are dead wrong.
Art is not limited to the hand. It is a product of the mind.
Tools are tools and nothing more. What matters is what you do with it.
art is intention, and even if I don’t like AI, I’m not gonna discredit anyone who uses it.
if it challenges artist to be more creative, to create better quality work, to outpace AI is a good thing
I will never underestimate creative minds, even if they are unable to draw
This is my favorite piece of milkbag art. I don't care if you say I use it too much. I will continue to use this work of art in thumbnails until my channel dies. Thanks.
@ItsBlarg because it attracts the worst type of person, shallow goals create a shallow individual
even if you do make it with that mentality, its at the cost of yourself and everything around you
