In the latest firmware update for Altruist Insight, the fonts for the e-ink screen are now correct! It looks great now, no more pixel jaggies :P

Night shift =) The first batch of the new 2026 design air quality sensors in Cyprus. Now we need to get the final certification documents after the lab tests have been completed, and get the Amazon product listing approved. @RobonomicsHW

Already assembled and ready to ship. We've passed 4 out of 5 certification tests and the first packages will finally leave our workshop and head to users within the next week.

We have launched local 48-hour tests on the Altruist Urban and Insight devices before sending them to the laboratory that conducts tests for certification in the European and US markets. If the tests are successful, we will be 1–2 months away from starting sales on Amazon in the US and Europe.

We've implemented one more small set of improvements to the outdoor module of the "Altruist" before shipping to backers: - The outdoor noise sensor is now located on the front panel, with a small opening positioned to effectively catch the data and shield it from heavy rain. - The lower section of the module has been slightly raised and equipped with a more thoughtfully designed ventilation system, enabling even more responsive and precise monitoring of the external environment. - The lower part has also been engineered to ensure that rainwater flows away naturally, without pooling inside the housing or reaching the sensors. - The antenna was previously the most vulnerable part of the enclosure and could break quite easily. It's now secured with a screw thread and made slightly thicker, giving us full confidence that it won't snap from a light—or even a not-so-light—bump, like from a curious cat dashing by (provided you haven't mounted it on the wall yet).

🇯🇵🤖🚀Our store for the Japanese market has passed Amazon's checks, and having all the necessary documents for sales the first device "Altruist" in the islands, we will soon start advertising in Tokyo.

The UV-protective visors for the “Altruist” air quality sensors give them a touch of samurai spirit - exactly the effect we wanted to achieve with this design! Instead of sticking with a dull, conventional visor, we once again embraced the possibilities of 3D printing to create a bolder and more functional shape that shields the sensor from both sunlight and heavy rain.
