I'm off here for a couple of days. When I get back, hopefully the Americans cheering on Scottish teenagers running around with weapons will have wound their necks in. As a mum, who is aware of very high levels of teen violence, including in schools, this is very disturbing.

Violent crime committed by teens in Scotland and the UK is a very real problem. I wish US commentators would understand this and not egg on kids brandishing weapons.

@AdamH2900 I suspect he's using this to test the limits of free speech, likely in light of Lucy's release last week. Lots of support for weapons from US accounts, which could certainly be viewed as incitement. More to his involvement than meets the eye, I think.

I find it genuinely surreal that Elon Musk, the world's richest man with a net worth of $422 billion, is commenting on an incident that happened in a council estate in Dundee People would never have believed this 20 or 30 years ago

I live in Dundee and she and her sister have constantly been in trouble with the law already My own working class boyfriend grew up exactly in Dundee where she’s from and his sympathy was limited. It’s a hotbed of anti social kids all of whom are white making lives of residents miserable

All well and good, but it's not clever to egg on kids walking around with knives or to shame men in deprived areas into violence. Many on the right, including Lowe, are being played and they don't know it

@dontforgetchaos 21yr Police service. Crippling C-PTSD and still can't find a suitable counsellor or help. Nightmares, medication to control the huge anxiety and still .... there are days when I wish I wasn't here. I want to talk. But. I don't want to burden others. So, I don't talk 💔

PTSD still crippling at times. I’ve been retired 6 months. I look on my former colleagues media posts & have to admit I could never do that job again. 25 years literally broke my brain. Still get ridiculous emotions with no warning. The night terrors have calmed but still evil. I’m free of brain meds and wouldn’t swap that. But sick of the invasion. It’ll never leave me, I’ve learnt to cope. But wouldn’t wish this on the worst of the haters. Life’s moving on with my business but I miss the front line so much. I was good at it. 5 Commendations, a National Police Bravery Award nomination, plus a few certificates and thank you’s and pride & enough stories for a book. . It pains me that I had to go, that I couldn’t do it anymore. Almost a whole identity had to change. But I’m still fighting. Still onwards to the future. Defending yourself against a migrant trying to rape you is illegal in the United Kingdom now. This young girl showed that she had means to defend herself against the migrant trying to rape her and is now being charged with possession of a knife. The migrant, of course, gets off free. I don’t know how much longer the people of the United Kingdom are going to stand living like this. Was this young girl supposed to allow herself to be raped by the migrant?
