After a 14-season hiatus (from S31-S44), the auction has now been in three of the past six seasons. It was fun to see it back for S45 and S47, but the #Survivor50 iteration was much better. The only innovation I liked from S45/S47 was the scramble to find money.

Compared to last week, Rick and Aubry gained the most popularity while Stephenie and Joe lost the most. #Survivor50

The #Survivor50 players are sorted by their popularity score (0-100%), which is a weighted average of the four voting categories.

Over 4,700 votes were cast in the #Survivor50 Episode 10 popularity polls. Cirie's popularity is the highest out of any player on record since I started running weekly polls at the beginning of S43!

@TribalConch Kyle offered all remaining Shot in the Darks. Everyone agreed and only Rachel didn’t give one up because she already played hers.

#Survivor50 had my favorite rice negotiation of the New Era but the bar was extremely low. Can we retire this going forward?

Cirie remains the top #Edgic contender after episode 9 of #Survivor50, according to the Unspoiled Edgic community on Taptalk. Ironically, the only other New Era players to surpass 90% support at some point did not win: Mike (S42), Jesse (S43), Carolyn (S44), and Emily (S45).

@RobHasApodcast The Nuclear Option Advantage. It functions like the Safety Without Power Advantage but instead of leaving Tribal Council you leave THE GAME but return to play on the next season. Only used on odd numbered seasons so the user would get a second chance without anyone knowing them.

The first juror on #Survivor voted for the winner 83.3% of the time (40/48). Other jurors voted for the winner 73.2% of the time (266/363). If you average each season’s percentage, it’s 72.9%. This 10-point difference is statistically significant.

This graphic shows how each #Survivor50 player's popularity score changed compared to last week. There weren't many big changes but Christian had the biggest increase, while Rick had the biggest decrease.
