Is that supposed to be some kind of huge revelation or something?? The majority of top country music artists didn’t write their hit songs, like George Strait , Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Randy Travis, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, and even the king himself Elvis Presley. Hell even artists like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson wrote countless songs that became hits with other artists, that’s literally how the music industry works.

The biggest trick the music industry ever pulled was convincing America that Garth Brooks belonged in the same conversation as the all-time greats. I said what I said.

I’m not even remotely a country music fan, but with classic songs like “The Thunder Rolls,” “The Dance,” and “Friends in Low Places,” Garth Brooks impact on country music cannot be denied. I remember him performing in my town and he had to do 2-concerts on back2back nights because the tickets sold-out so quickly.
