So this happened….During my interview this morning with @bshactman at Mary’s Diner in #Waterbury a group of older white men started yelling at me as they were leaving.
I don’t know about you- but I’m sick of this toxic environment. We hash out our political differences at the ballot box.

This. All of this. My first "corporate" job was at McDonalds in high school. Later Arby's and even later Pizza Hut. None of those show up on my resume now.

I was sick over this post when it was shared with me last night and I reached out to apologize to Chris and his partner and let him know I was praying for them.
Joining them at church today was reaffirming and a daily reminder that love is more powerful than hate.
