March 23rd,1956- The King of Rock n’ Roll released his self titled album, Elvis Presley, which landed on the no. 1 spot of the Billboard Pop album chart for ten weeks. This was the first rock n’ roll album to ever reach this spot and the first million selling album of that genre.
