I think the time has passed for us to make any further deals or alliances with the Americans. The Americans are right: let us help them save their taxpayers’ money, and we in Europe should focus solely on our own interests. There are plenty of other partners in the Gulf states and Asia. We should terminate all agreements with the United States this year, including no‑fly‑zone arrangements.
