Azula had a bad childhood, but that does not automatically make her sympathetic or deserving of redemption. She must first admit she did wrong things, and people must be willing to forgive her. Zuko and Iroh grew up in the same bad environment but chose to become better. Azula keeps rejecting any chance to change and prefers to stay cruel.


@NathanParsons98 missed the desert, but I understand why they had to cut it -- did not miss drill or guru. When the gaang "breaks up" in ep 6 it was so well set up and a tragic beautiful character driven nadir... loved it.
