The first thing that came to mind when I saw Cole Allen's pic... I'd swear it was this guy what starred in a movie, "Shazaam", as a Persian genie. I rented the movie, on VHS the year it came out (1984. One of the first movies to skip the theater and go straight to VHS rental) and failed to return. I know I stored it in a box of old VHS tapes, but I cannot find it now. On the guess my Mom may have returned it for me, I went to THE RENTAL CENTER to see if it was there, but the store was empty. On the door was a notice what said "THE RENTAL STORE IS CLOSED SINCE FURTHER NOTICE. WE HAVE MOVED LOCATIONS AND HAVE OPENED AS "THE RENAL CENTER SOMALI EYECARE/WEAR FOR THE SITELESS, FEDERALLY FUNDED". Have you seen this movie before? This one, not that one. If you've seen it or know where I can get a copy, please post. I can't have imagined any of this. Someone's suggested it might be a Mandela effect, but I'm sure Mandella wasn't in the movie.
