@RodRose314 I’m self employed now Rod. I stand by everything I’ve said and if I decide to appeal, I do hope the outcome will be different. Not because I was to be re-instated, but to clear my name.

Surely it’s misleading to continue to talk about an appeal period. I have been clearly told there are no grounds of appeal.

Never once in that time did I ever think it’d be appropriate to respond, at excess speed in my own personal car to a call, regardless of the facts. I’m sorry you’ve lost your job but you need to reflect & take some accountability for your actions.

@GrahamTanner121 @RodRose314 No. But the law provides that any vehicles being used for a policing purpose can be exempt.

Today, after over 20 yrs as a dedicated, decorated and highly skilled officer, I was dismissed for providing a ‘misleading account’ in relation to a speed camera activation application for exemption when rushing to help colleagues whilst on duty. I left with my head held high.

@TorbayTim @GrahamTanner121 I’d suggest without knowing the full facts that It’s the Dishonesty element that has done you over. If you can disprove their dishonesty claim then get the Fed to appeal and provide the evidence.

However, there seems to be questions around (a) Were you on Duty, (b) use of your personal car to exceed speed limit and (c) a mention of Misleading… which suggests an Integrity question over some part of this.
