Gus made it clear we couldn’t re-sign Mahoney past 2027 on an upgraded deal , the same with Curran ( and in my opinion will be the same with Xerri ) He did tell mahoneys manager he could look around too see if he could get a deal for after 2027. And they found a good 3 year deal with cowboys on thr condition he comes on 2026 . Good for all parties . Unfortunately the media jumped on this to twist it , but very straight forward imo

@poc125 I think both Tuala and Xerri end of 2027 . Xerri due for a pay upgrade Critta already on the big money in centre , so I’m sure Xerri is now playing for a big money contract with another club . (Same happened for Reed and Curran )
