UK: A Brit posted photo of him holding a shotgun while on holiday in Florida, when he returned home UK police arrested him, seized his devices, jailed him overnight for violating the 1986 Public Order Act. The process was the punishment.
After sharing a photo of himself posing with a legally possessed shotgun at a Florida shooting range, a British man was arrested, locked in a cell overnight, interrogated, and lectured that he “must understand how posts make people feel.” Police seized his computer and phone, wiping out his ability to work. Weeks later, all charges were quietly dropped because they were baseless from the start. Critics say the ordeal proves the UK has turned social media into a surveillance trap where innocent people are punished by process alone.

@TheTerraceTV Dear me boys "the haunted mug ?" Call yourselves Scots ? Those images are of the statue of the Declaration of Arbroath, the most important document in Scottish history, and of the "Round O" in Arbroath Abbey, the location of its signing .

Lorna Slater causes consternation at Holyrood by suggesting business people who complain about Scottish income tax rates cannot do the maths, and are not credible business people.
@staylorish Buying a house at 500k in Scotland costs £8350 more and its really unlikely that they will need many prescriptions. I cannot stand her voice she is a total moron. If she was in business her £10 million plus loss would have seen her bagged.
@RoddyFMacDonald@patch8652 I understood already. I also understand that you have little or no understanding about what you're talking about.
I should have known from your first tweet, talking bollocks about Scots goods being shipped from English ports 🤣🤣
😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂 Today I learned that some unionists actually believe that the Barnnet formula ( a con) gives Scotland back more than it puts into the treasury 😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂😅
@d1_david@patch8652 It doesn't supply water yet, but they want it to.
Your simple inability to argue the case is due to ignorance, don't feel bad, you were misinformed. Do you understand now about budgets and consequentials?
@RoddyFMacDonald@patch8652 It's a simple reality that Scotland runs a deficit that is almost twice that of the rest of the UK. I know that you struggle with reality (see your earlier claim that Scotland provides water to england) but that is a matter of fact.
@RoddyFMacDonald@patch8652 We can also then agree that the 10% budget deficit that the Scots gov runs is as a result of spending decisions made by the Scottish government.
@RoddyFMacDonald@patch8652 Just checking, we're in agreement that Scotland spends both its block grant and barnett consequentials, contrary to your prior claim?
@d1_david@patch8652 LOL barnett consequentials are only paid out when a much larger "england only" spend has been made. Even then, its a 1-year con, since the cost of whatever was spent is added to the national debt, and Scotland is charged a proportion of that for ever more.
@RoddyFMacDonald@patch8652 "It is then for Scottish Ministers to decide how they should be allocated"
Scotland gets extra £ when £ is spent in England. Scottish ministers decide what that £ is spent on.
E.g NHS spend ⬆️ in Eng. Scots get extra £. The snp decide if £ is spent on NHS

@d1_david@patch8652 Now you're just being silly . Scotland receives the block grant , which is a small part of the amount sent by Scotland TO Westminster. Spending over and above that is done BY Westminster, not Scotland, and is not "received" by Scotland in any way, shape or form.
@RoddyFMacDonald@patch8652 Westminster and Holyrood are both in agreement that Scotland receives huge sums of cash from Westminster.
If you can find any regulatory body that says that doesn't occur, then please do share away.
It's only in the minds of scot nats that this money doesn't exist.
@d1_david@patch8652 So the present goverment lied about the finances, but you're prepared to accept as sacrosanct another "fact" about finances...It'd be fun to hear the PM squirm as he tried to explain WHY they're SO adamant not to cut loose this massive drain on the finances . Catch yourself on.
