@Rodenstock hi how to ensure that my Rodenstock eyeglass is authentic . I could not see R symbol on the top right side.

@AhmadRofaie 3.) The most important indicator is our micro engraving in the glass. The sign is recognisable by opticians with high magnification and can't be deselected.

@AhmadRofaie 2.) The second characteristic is the engraved Rodenstock R, which is visible on the right glass, but it can also be deselected by the optician (for example for technical reasons).

Hello @ahmadrofaie, thank you for your message. Generally, there are three characteristics by which you can identify whether the lenses are a Rodenstock original: 1.) The first is the Service card, which opticians receive with the lenses and can forward to the customer.

Hi @rahul78091162, the service card is usually a great sign that the lenses are officially from Rodenstock. We provide the card with all our lenses. The "R" mark on the right lenses varies in each market and can be deselected if required - so that isn't a must for authenticity

hi @Rodenstock , I have recently bought a pair of eye-glasses with Rodenstock lenses. While the optician has provided the authenticity card I don’t see the “R” mark on right lense. Is that normal? How do I make sure they have provided genuine lenses?

@Rodenstock I have Rodenstock R1424D that require new lenses . I spoken to customer support and they sent me to optician which quoted £200 for new lenses ( original provided by Rodenstock ). I have paid £160 for the sunglasses when they were new. Rodenstock customer service

@Rodenstock ordered spectacle lenses ( -7.5) with xtra-clean coating. But, just got a call from my optometrist that this coating is not possible for my lenses. Why??

To see sth in the room I need to bow my head incredibly low, reading is quite acceptable,but I can see nothing on PC,screen flows.They make me feel totally unconfortable. @topdb In some markets and for technical reasons the trademark is not visible on the lens. Please send us an email with your location and the store where you bought your lens and we will check if they are in business with us.

@Rodenstock How will I ensure the glasses fitted in my frame is of @Rodenstock only ?I am informed by store exe. that all the @Rodenstock glasses does not have R symbol in it. Is there any other way of ensuring the authenticity ??

@Rodenstock Greetings, I write to you from Venezuela. I am an ophthalmologist and trusting in your products, I sent lenses for my son in January 2020 but I was mocked by his representative today after 10 months they return me frames without glass for non-compliance. Irresponsible
