アメリカの皆さん🇺🇸 日本人は抹茶をあまり飲みません。あれは高齢者のもので、長い間、学校の茶道部の行事などで一生のうちに何回か体験するようなものでした。 私の祖母の世代は上流階級なら茶道に親しんでいました。嫁入り前の習い事でした。祖母は嫁入り前に茶道や琴を習っていました。彼女は軍人と結婚しました。 2000年ごろから日本でも抹茶を入れたお菓子が出回り始めました。 しかし抹茶を料理に使う様になったのはごく最近の話です。 今だに抹茶のお菓子はあまり好きではない人も多いです。私の弟と母は抹茶が嫌いなため怒ります。 さらに抹茶は高価な上に、苦いので沢山飲むものでもありませんでした。甘いお菓子と少し飲むものです。 さらに高価だったので、砂糖や果物、クリームと混ぜることもありえませんでした。 抹茶はあくまで上流階級の嗜みであり、庶民が消費するものではなかったのです。重要なのは抹茶そのものではなく様式です。 最近アメリカや他の国で抹茶がブームですが、大きなカップで苦いのを無理して飲む必要はありません。 カフェインが多いので注意してください。 カフェインを取りすぎると脱水症状になるため、血圧は肌に良くありません。また冷たくして沢山飲むとお腹が冷えます。 クリームや砂糖を沢山入れるとカロリーが高く、糖質が高いから血糖値が上がり過ぎます。 何ごとも中庸が大事です。 さらにアメリカや外国で出回る抹茶には中国製の質が低いものが沢山あります。 抹茶は生産に大変な手間がかかり、生産者は高齢化しているため大量に製造できないのをご理解下さい。
