There is a heavy presence of police at the Confederation building. They bussed police in from across the island. The fishermen and community are showing up in large numbers. The people are not intimated and will continue to stand. I wonder if they will bring the horses today. #istandwithnewfoundland

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers on foot and horseback attempted to clear out a group of fisherman protesting outside the Confederation Building in St John's Newfoundland this morning. Check out the unhinged officer screaming from atop his high horse! According to reports, one protester suffered a broken hip and was taken to hospital by paramedics.
