@Jocee3543 @didrogba99 @liamASAP For fucks sake all you mofos. Thor is from old norse mythology. Thor was worshipped from _at least_ 600 AD. Shango worship started around 1300-1400 AD. 600-700 years _later_

Shango ( also known as chango, sango, or Xango) king of the orisha pantheon, rules over thunder, fire, drumming, dancing and male virility, shango is actually a deified king.

Do not be so gullible! Realistic prosthetic masks exist, but a retired Vice Admiral wouldn't show up wearing one on a major U.S. network. Robert 'Bob' Harward looked completely normal in his later interviews. He's just a regular human being. It’s the studio lighting and camera angle playing tricks.

@real_mahalingam Exceptionally well made example, I´m always skeptical that facial features are lost, but this one was perfect.

@HighlyCitedX What´s your take on late Australopithecus africanus to early Erectus? AFAIK, it´s just 1 million year gap between the two. And morphology changes are massive, from chimp-like to, basically modern human body, with archaic head. it seems way too much(?)

@TheRealAssasn @Nubianprince123 From their own art. They drew themselves much lighter than Nubians. Yet darker than Libyans or Asiatics. And there would ofcourse have been influx of people and DNA from the surrounding regions.

This is a Modern Egyptian next to an Ancient Egyptian. The difference is clear, they are not descendants of the people of Kemet.

@HighlyCitedX Any thoughts about this thing? if our faces look like this due to neoteny (which research claims it does) Couldn´t this have happened separately in multiple populations?, making it super hard to know what is modern and archaic. e.g. self-domestication happening in many places

@HighlyCitedX What is actually known about them in terms of appearance? They must have looked super weird. Did they have giant heads? it looks completely surreal compared to a modern human tooth.

Really nice graphic of Neanderthal ancestor migrating out of Africa 300kya, from some documentary around 2010. Every anthropologist knows this is false but they still put this kind of misinformation out.

@Ishodas_Thomman The indigenous Maori and Polynesian expansions were a LOT more impressive, though. Polynesians had there own equivalent of the British Empire, they had an incredibly robust stargazing culture that let them navigate the seas, best of their times. +

@HighlyCitedX But is ancestry always 1 to 1 so to say? Just for the sake of the argument. Let´s say we would have ~50-50 Sapiens and Neanderthal DNA today. We would still clearly have a name for our own species, we wouldn´t call ourselves hybrids, or would we?

@RogerAlsing Species is a blurry concept, but this group that includes Kabwe-Bodo in Africa are not the ancestors of Homo sapiens. Nobody really agrees what other fossils are in this "species". Omo 2, Daka as well? Probably had a common ancestor 1 million years ago.

That looks like a tiny RFID/NFC inlay tag on clear adhesive film — basically a passive microchip with a small antenna, common in product labels, anti-theft stickers, or packaging. It probably transferred to your skin from clothing or an object and came off in the shower. Not an implant. Those are encased and don't peel off the surface.
