Dear Canada, I felt compelled to make something. To stick up for, and to honour. To show our strength, beauty, genius, empathy, light & heart. It's made with deep gratitude for the people and places of this beautiful land. Vive le Canada 🇨🇦❤️✌️💪 vimeo.com/1056619122/f6e…

With a 25% tariffs on Mexican and Canadian beef, it makes even more sense to just buy US beef only

March marks Women's History Month, and it’s a time I deeply cherish, both as an educator and a woman, to celebrate and reflect on the remarkable contributions women have made throughout history. 👩‍🔬 It's an opportunity for educators to inspire students with stories of female pioneers who've shaped our world. 🌍 This month, help your learners explore the narratives of women who've broken barriers in science, politics, literature, and beyond. From the scientific discoveries🔬 of Marie Curie to the tireless advocacy of education 📚by Malala Yousafzai, there's a wealth of stories to explore. You can bring these stories to life in your virtual classroom by incorporating interactive projects, such as creating digital timelines that trace the achievements of these influential women, hosting discussion forums, or even inviting guest speakers through a live Zoom session. Here are three interesting topic ideas to get you started: 1. Women Pioneers in Various Fields - Exploring the lives and contributions of pioneering women in fields traditionally dominated by men, such as science, technology, engineering, politics, and art. 2. Global Perspectives on Women's Rights and Achievements - Discuss the status of women's rights and achievements in different parts of the world, exploring the similarities and differences across cultures and societies. 3. Women in Literature and the Arts - Celebrate women's contributions to literature and the arts, discussing how female authors, poets, and artists have expressed their perspectives and influenced culture. Women's History Month isn't just about looking back; it's a time to inspire future generations to continue breaking boundaries and pursuing equality. Let's use this month to empower our students with the knowledge that they, regardless of gender, can make history. 🚀🌟 #ElearningGold #annettelevesque #education #distanceeducation #elearning #WomensHistoryMonth #Empowerment #Education

Retirement is about learning new skills. My wife bought me a wood carving set for Christmas. Here’s my first foray into carving - a midcentury bird. A few evening’s work and only half a box of bandages! 😁

Leadership advice passed onto Tom Brady from his Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr - ‘Apply a disproportionate amount of energy to the things you can control’ Brady went from 3rd string quarterback to starter in his last 2 college years and the rest is history!!!

Leadership Lesson #12 Be Vulnerable! There is power when leaders admit their mistakes. Accept the fact you will make errors and hold yourself accountable publicly When you criticize yourself, others are more willing to accept criticism from you #unreasonablehospitality

Leadership Lesson #11 Leverage Affirmation Leverage as much external affirmation as possible and direct it to the people responsible for the success. Never take credit for other people’s work. Build morale and keep it high. Thanks = rocket fuel #unreasonablehospitality
