Greenwich Council’s Cabinet just voted through their Play Centre cuts, including ending the current staffed Play Centre service at Coldharbour. We’ve submitted a formal challenge to the decision, which will now receive scrutiny at public hearing @ Town Hall. Date to follow!

Last month (during my paternity leave) my colleague Councillor @RogerMTester chaired a public meeting on need to Save the Coldharbour Play Centre service - time and again the community has made their views clear to the Council just how vital this service is. They’re not listening

.@RogerMTester and I have been making this point all year to Labour councillors at the Town Hall - these are Play CENTRES, not just playgrounds. It’s astonishing that the Leader of the Council and Labour MP are dismissing the Coldharbour service and the work staff do easily.
