NEW: A 45-year-old Venezuelan man in ICE custody died in Georgia on Monday after being denied his medication, his sister and advocacy groups said. Jesús Manuel Arenas-Silva was the fourth person to die in an ICE-related incident this week. ICE officials confirmed the death of Arenas-Silva, who was arrested last Thursday. During his arrest, his family said they pleaded with officials to allow him to take his medications. They allowed him only one. Then Arenas-Silva called his sister to tell her ICE didn't give him his medication. Annya Mari is well known for protesting ICE for the past 20 years with no criminal record—until now. She has now been charged with "harassment of a public official." Texas DPS just spent $4.5 million on four Chevy Tahoes. The trucks aren’t the story. The surveillance system hidden inside them is. Each Tahoe carries FalcoNet, a cell-site simulator built by Israeli surveillance firm Cognyte. It impersonates a cell tower and forces every phone nearby to connect to it. Your phone. Your neighbor’s phone. Everyone’s. Cognyte’s own marketing says it can capture thousands of devices per minute. There is no way to aim this at one suspect. It sweeps up everyone in range, then police sort through the data later. DPS labeled it an emergency purchase to skip normal procurement review. The memo never says what the emergency was. Two weeks before the trucks were ordered, the Supreme Court ruled in Chatrie v. United States that your cell phone location data is protected by the Fourth Amendment. Even short-term tracking is a search. That’s exactly what this technology does, to thousands of people at once, in secret. The Fourth Amendment was written because the Founders hated general warrants that let agents search everyone to find anyone. Texas just bought four of them on wheels. Your government should not know where you are because you drove past an SUV.

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents are now kidnapping Native grandmothers in Chaparral, New Mexico. A Native woman pulled into a gas station because she realized she was being followed by a truck. Moments later, ICE agents surrounded her and escorted her to one of their vehicles. This is a woman whose ancestors lived on this land for thousands of years before the United States even existed. A Native woman, on her own ancestral land, being treated like a foreigner by the federal government in 2026. The Fourth Amendment protects people from being unreasonably stopped or detained, and the federal government cannot lawfully target people simply because of their race or ethnicity. So why did ICE agents stalk and kidnap this woman? This stopped being about immigration a long time ago.
