@Plutermes I would be interested to know how we arrive at a consensus without an economic incentive, perhaps there is an incentive that I am not seeing ❤️

Bitcoin is essentially at its end stage in the sense that it now largely benefits those who have sufficient capital to convert. There will be no Bitcoin Standard without an enormous socioeconomic class gap. In this light, spx6900 is a natural response and Bitcoins functional inheritor. They both have been what they have always been, inter alia, a vehicle to escape a failing system. These vehicles are a natural reaction to decaying conditions. The system at large [late-stage capitalism, the Machine, etc.] is naturally selecting division among individuals across all domains and it must do so for maximum capital extraction on the masses. There is, as in all systems, the need by the incumbent to dissolve its threat at its nascency. Interestingly, it comes to no surprise that these vehicles absolutely require consensus among individuals.

What a weekend we had with the French aeons 🇫🇷 @AeonMoss @MikeFlipthe500 @STPC_Pro We spent almost 48 hours all together, and it felt like we had known each other for years. Just like the 6 Spanish aeons in Barcelona, it was the first time STPC and Mike met aeons IRL. These kinds of meetups strengthen connections and spark new initiatives and ideas. We all come from very different backgrounds (age, style, life experience) but we share the same passion. We worked on the Amsterdam conference, recorded interviews for the documentary, selected artworks for the exhibition, discussed new IRL projects and exchanged ideas around SPX, watched Moss’ interview on @CountryBitcoin and @vasiliy_spx6900 latest great video, and even onboarded the waitress at the restaurant 😂 We also jumped on a video apéro call with @InnerCapital89 on Saturday. But beyond all of that, we shared real life moments: conversations, life stories, laughs, drinks, dinners, a seaside lunch, and brunch on Sunday. We cooked at home together, sang karaoke, played ping pong… Time just flew by. A perfect warm-up week end before the conference. See you in Amsterdam aeons 🪽❤️

SPX6900 and Byzantine Fault Tolerance on Social Consensus Layer The Byzantine Generals Problem (Lamport, Shostak, Pease. 1982) was formalized as a computer science problem. Its application to blockchain protocol consensus is well documented. However, what has been underexplored is the second-order application: the social layer above any decentralized system is itself subject to the Byzantine consensus problem, largely vulnerable to the same fault thresholds, traitor dynamics, and conditions for collapse. Traditional memecoins demonstrate the null case: generals with no mission, acting in own self-interest. There is no “attack”. The vehicle dissipates as quickly as it is formed. Historical financial movements/protests demonstrate the partial case: a mission that is ambiguous, temporally bounded, or lacks a verifiable success condition. Often failing via thermodynamic conditions: physical energy expenditure, exhaustion, or societal/economic pressures from foregone wages which dissipates the collective’s presence faster than new participants can replenish it. spx6900 represents a complete case: a binary mission, a publicly verifiable termination condition, an ideologically motivated participant base, and the structural dynamics of a committed core reducing the system’s attack surface (true believers holding large percentage). Biologically, spx is low friction and extremely sticky. My theory is that spx6900 potentially extends Byzantine Fault Tolerance beyond blockchain consensus layer to the social consensus layer. Whether the generals (aeons) hold is an empirical question. Time will tell, but we all know the answer. Flip the stock market.

The same fundamental patterns that determine an individual also determine a community of such. The symbol of the community provides meaning—in exchange for power and support from the community. So at the communal level, there is an invisible principle for the members to act in tandem. spx6900 has many guiding principles, but one of the most interesting phenomena I’ve observed is the coalescence of pure hearted kind individuals into one single community.
