Ramadan Kareem to Rohingya families in the camps. 🌙 In Cox's Bazar, I recently met with refugees observing Ramadan - far from their home. Their strength and hope stay with me. UNHCR stands by them and works toward the day when they can return safely and voluntarily to Myanmar.

It is the 9th Ramadan for 80-year-old #Rohingya Laila Begum in Bangladesh. Nine years of praying to one day be able to return to Myanmar. Her heart is still in Myanmar, but as her mobility declines, so does the hope she'll celebrate another Ramadan in her homeland.

Standing in Cox’s Bazar today with 🇺🇦 Amb. @OPolishchukUA & 🇫🇷 Amb. @JMSereCharlet was a powerful reminder of what solidarity looks like. Ukraine provided 3,000 tonnes of sunflower oil, 🇸🇪 funded via #GrainFromUkraine. This will feed 1M Rohingya for 3 months.
