🇹🇷🇵🇸 Israel seized the flotilla. Now it's deporting them.
420+ activists detained after Israel attacked their vessels in international waters are being flown to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines today. They were held at Ketziot Prison in the Negev before transfer to Ramon Airport.
All 50 ships were seized Tuesday. The flotilla carried 428 people from 44 countries, sailing from Marmaris to break Israel's blockade on Gaza.
Turkey's Foreign Minister arranged the flights. Everyone is going home without ever reaching Gaza.

🇮🇱 The diplomatic blowback from Ben-Gvir's flotilla detainee video is hitting from every direction. Italy, France, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, Turkey and South Korea all condemned the footage, with Italian PM Meloni calling the treatment of activists "unacceptable" and demanding a formal apology. Even the U.S. ambassador Mike Huckabee said Ben-Gvir had "betrayed the dignity" of his nation. The backlash was severe enough that Netanyahu broke with his own coalition ally, saying Ben-Gvir's conduct was "not in line with Israel's values and norms." FM Sa'ar was blunter: "You are not the face of Israel." The video shows some foreign nationals forced to kneel with their heads on the ground, taunted as "terrorists" by Ben-Gvir while being manhandled and humiliated by masked police with automatic weapons.
