2018 is about to be groundbreaking + life-changing for me. and for any black girl + woman getting it by any means.

people have a problem with those with voice, backbone, opinion/theory. those who stand for what they believe in and those who speak truth + their truth. you’re not allowed, they say. it’ll get you killed. i say, take up all the space + speak yo peace by any means. fear not.

Reading so far, in chapter 1 we read: “people cannot change their habits without first changing their way of thinking”. 🤔 What habits have you had difficulty adjusting?
