After the demoniac latin protestant was refuted with his own quotation, he immediately proceeds to block me. They have not changed in 7 centuries: 1) Are utterly debunked and exposed as sophists. 2) Run away and spit bile.

@PatrologyVotary @BatuZerk @cappadocianfan @d833320 @apophatic_ @Fearless__Truth The quote literally states that we do not and cannot know the essence of God, but that we can merely know that God exists (“is”). God does what? Exists (verbal predicate). Existing is an action that God does, not His very essence. The quote is in line with Letter 234 of st. Basil

The Palamite Synods clearly teach that the manifestation of the divine energies within creation are created effects of the uncreated energy. It is evident that anybody claiming otherwise has not read Dr. Tikhon Pino's book. @Fearless__Truth

@kseniaofptrs @IHaveAyytism The latins’ position is the one of sophistry and delusion. If the uncreated Divine Truth (the only Truth there is) doesn’t come down to us (as they equate it with God’s unreachable essence), then making inherently true claims becomes impossible, which is clearly a contradiction.

@kseniaofptrs @IHaveAyytism The latins deny that manifestations of God in creation are themselves uncreated. The Orthodox affirm that these manifestations aren’t creatures. They teach that the only uncreated is the Divine essence, which is completely unknowable and unreachable, according to the saints.

@orthoanbheanin @GigaBasedDad Do you understand that this kind of reasoning is fallacious? It’s called a genetic fallacy. Things happening in your church could be wrong. God warns against blindly following clerics many times in His Revelation: “And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch”.

@orthoanbheanin @GigaBasedDad The Church has never promoted praying for the non-Orthodox departed let alone in Liturgy. The saints condemn this practice. It is useless and gives false hopes - there’s neither repentance nor Baptism in hell. It is pelagian and universalist as it implicitly denies John 3:5.

@orthoanbheanin @GigaBasedDad There is no part of the saint John Chrysostom’s Liturgy in which the non-Orthodox departed are prayed for or commemorated. You can literally look it up.

@orthoanbheanin @GigaBasedDad It’s not part of the Liturgy to pray for the non-Orthodox departed, you’re factually incorrect. The saints (e.g. st. Agustine, st. Gregory the Great) teach against praying for those who died out of Communion with the Church, as it is meaningless and promotes universalism.

@James_Theuer @Dawkinizer @Zoboomafoodie I think I’ll just block you. It was quite sad to find out that you are so delusional, didn’t expect that honestly. Hopefully you’ll become an Orthodox Christian one day. All unrepentant evolutionists will be thrown into the lake of eternal fire for their atheism and blasphemy.

@Dawkinizer @ruckusofantioch @James_Theuer @Zoboomafoodie You’re intentionally conflating categories. You’re not “learning about the natural world” as it is right now, you’re promoting delusional theories and models regarding its alleged unobservable past on the basis of conjecture and anti-Christian pseudo-philosophical lies.
