Here’s a simple enough thing to understand (I hope). A lot of people believed it ≠ Doctrine. Your Sunday school teacher believes it ≠ Doctrine. If it is taught and affirmed by the 12 apostles and the first presidency then it is Doctrine.
So to nail down doctrine, look at the collective statements of all 15 of them and you’d have it super simple
