#therookie #Chenford So I took time to think about it and turns out I'm still mad. What's disappointing is that the show fell victim to the very cliché and tired breakup trope. Just once, I would like to watch a TV ship that goes through the wringer but WITHOUT breaking up (1/2)

@aleandthesix I had some trust issues with the show bcuz of all the clowning they did mid series with chenford, felt like they were making fun of us a little bit when they did a fake love confession but I had forgiven them when chenford got together. But now the trust issues came back for sure

@colo_beauty @aleandthesix No I think they'll get back together eventually but the real question is "will I care as much when they do?" I don't know cause the ship lost some of it's magic for me because of all this bs

@aleandthesix That is my dream... to be able to watch a couple go through challenges together instead of this toxic "gotta do it on my own" thing countless shows have going on... but alas #therookie did like everybody else which is breaking #chenford up... they did the boring, overdone thing

@kaifjv65 This a 100%. Tim leaving Lucy will for sure create trust issues between them as it should... wouldn't be surprise if by the time Tim is ready to get back together with her, she tells him no for that exact reason, I wouldn't blame her tbh

Wouldn't that have been refreshing... but instead I get a breakup which gives hella "drama for the sake of drama" vibes... and so yeah I decided to take a break myself from the show for a little bit for the simple reason that I'M not entertained anymore by it (2/2)

I'm not gonna lie, I used to love them but I recently did a series rewatch and honestly could not for the life of me understand why I used to ship them... sure they had chemistry but that's about it... this ship was the definition of toxic #TheVampireDiaries
